Like you, I want to get through this life and be happy! However, stressors that are meant to be a challenge to us quite often can become major road blocks for us especially as we are going through major additional pressures in our lives such as:
Times in our lives with hormonal changes that can also have physical &/or psychological symptoms during:
· Adolescence
· Transitioning
· Prenatal/postnatal
· Perimenopause
· Menopause
· Post-menopause
And in other cases of extreme pressures when:
· Processing traumatic events as a victim, witness or even being culpable for
someone’s pain and suffering
· Dealing with illness, disability and chronic pain
· Healing from grief and loss
· Coping with mental health and suicide
And so many more since the Cost of Living Crisis…jobs, money, homes, food, heating, we are now talking basic animal needs –‘gee whiz!’ Who is looking out for us in the government?! It’s just not good enough!
Let’s just remember if you have been strong enough to get through Covid and everything that has been happening since, well … ‘good golly,’ you are a lot stronger and more resilient than you think! We need people like you!
Please share some of you and your positivity will enrich others as I hope their positive thoughts and mine will help you. Hopefully you will recognise bits of you in the sharing, experiences, wise words, and slices of humour, so that you do not feel alone and can say: "That's so like me." Because when we see that others are similar to us in some way, it reassures us to feel more secure in ourselves, then our confidence blossoms and empowers us, and with that there’s no stopping us!
